Pets are a staple in most Iris homes. However, 75% of Irish pet owners don't have pet insurance. Over half of them state that this is due to the cost of insurance. Allianz knew these people care about their pets, yet these feelings weren't translating into wanting to protect them. 
Most people think of their pets simply as lovable companions, but they rarely consider how their pets positively impact their own health. Research shows that pets reduce stress and anxiety, increase exercise, lower blood pressure, and even improve cognitive function in older people. So we created a campaign that makes the connection between their pet's health and their own. Simply put, a pet insurance policy doesn't just benefit the pet, it benefits the owner too. Win-win.
We delivered these messages in environments where health was top-of-mind for our audience: in pharmacies, OOH spots beside pharmacies and healthcare settings and in national newspaper health pupplements... I mean supplements.
